Samantha (she/her/hers) is a 4th year Ph.D. candidate in the Psychological and Brain Sciences department working with Dr. Bob McMurray. She completed an NSF Graduate Research Fellowship prior to her lab manager position in the Voice Lab. Her research lines integrate psycholinguistics, sociolinguistics, and cognitive neuroscience and broadly explore how different external factors (i.e. one’s social network) and internal factors (i.e. individual differences in hearing ability) influence speech processing.
