Jacob (Jake) Boudreau (he/him/his) is a curious human studying English and Creative Writing, Linguistics, Translation and various languages at the University of Iowa. Among (too) many other things, he has a keen interest in language as a problem-solving strategy as well as the intersections between language and extra-linguistic factors. During the time that he isn’t studying, he can be found enjoying a riverside stroll, running, hiking, watching a sunset, smelling flowers, reading, writing or playing video games (okay, mostly just Skyrim). He will remain at the University of Iowa to complete an MA in Linguistics, after which he will either pursue a Ph.D. or work as a public servant.
