Jacob (Jake) Boudreau (he/him/his) is a curious human studying English and Creative Writing, Linguistics, Translation and various languages at the University of Iowa. Among (too) many other things, he has a keen interest in language as a system of thought as well as a means of accessing and even understanding one’s culture, thoughts and/or self. During the time that he isn’t studying, he can be found enjoying a riverside stroll, running, hiking, watching a sunset, smelling flowers, reading, writing or playing video games (okay, mostly just Skyrim). He is currently planning on attending graduate school after getting his undergrad but not before he travels abroad and puts his language skills to use.
