Emerson Peters (she/her/hers) is an undergraduate at the University of Iowa studying physics, mathematics, writing, and linguistics. She plans to graduate in the Spring of 2025. When she’s not in the lab or classroom, Emerson serves as the secretary for the university’s Society of Physics Students and almost never sees the light of day from inside Van Allen Hall. Emerson’s hobbies include making and drinking copious amounts of coffee, drawing and writing, and cuddling with her kitten, Noah Fence. After undergraduate school, Emerson hopes to continue doing homework for the rest of her life or to start her career in an undecided field.
